Mandatory 2026 Registration: SIL & Platform Providers

NDIS Latest News

From 1 July 2026, all SIL and platform providers must be registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission to keep delivering NDIS‑funded supports.

This change is designed to lift quality, safety and oversight for participants in shared living and for those using online platforms to find support workers.

For providers, it means two big shifts:

  • registration is now mandatory, not optional, and
  • your systems and records (rosters, worker screening, incident logs, service agreements) need to stand up to regular audits.

If you offer SIL supports or run a platform, now is the time to:

  • confirm you’re captured by the new rules,
  • start pulling together your evidence, and
  • make sure your rostering and timesheet data is centralised and easy to export.

Tools like RotaWiz help you stay audit‑ready by keeping shifts, workers and participant records aligned, so you’re not scrambling for information when 2026 arrives.
